Our Mission:
The mission of our company is smart cost-saving in animal feeding. That’s why we implemented the American Insta-Pro ExPress soybean processing technology, which enables us to produce a high-oleic soybean meal equivalent — SkyPro. (Learn more)!
- 1. Unlike standard soybean meal with an oil content of around 1%, the high-oleic equivalent of soybean meal SkyPro contains approximately 6–8% oil. Considering that oil is significantly more expensive than soybean meal itself — and that fat additives are required in nearly all animal feed formulations — using the high-oleic soybean meal equivalent in compound feeds is, on average, €40 more cost-effective per ton of product, depending on current soybean meal and oil prices.
- 2. Unlike standard soybean cakes, the high-oleic SkyPro soybean meal equivalent undergoes additional thermal processing in special conditions according to the Insta-Pro ExPress technology. This reduces the content of anti-nutritional substances (such as trypsin inhibitors) to levels comparable with high-quality meal standards.
- 3. Unlike conventional extraction (chemical) methods of producing meal using hexane, the high-oleic SkyPro soybean meal equivalent is produced exclusively by mechanical means using Insta-Pro ExPress technology. According to scientific research (link), this provides advantages in feed conversion and weight gain in swine and poultry.
About the Company:
2022
Sky Protein LLC was founded in 2022. A production facility was purchased in the town of Sokal, Lviv region, near the border with Poland.
Reconstruction of the premises for soybean processing was launched.
2023
The plant was launched with a modern quality control laboratory, and production of high-protein soybean cakes (meal) was established.
The company also passed international certification in compliance with ISO 22000 and GMP+ standards.
2024
The company implemented the American Insta-Pro ExPress soybean processing technology, enabling the production of high-oleic soybean meal equivalents SkyPro_46+ and SkyPro_48+.
